Sign-in & your data

Auto SoundBox is an Android app for shopkeepers and small businesses. It listens for the payment notifications your UPI apps already show and announces the amount out loud, so a busy counter never misses a payment. This page explains why the app asks you to sign in, and exactly what we do — and don't — receive from your Google Account.

1. Why we ask you to sign in

Signing in with Google gives your shop one account you can come back to. It is what lets us:

Without an account, none of these would survive reinstalling the app.

2. What we receive from your Google Account

When you sign in, we receive only your name, email address and profile picture. We use your email address to identify your account and to contact you about your subscription — for example a payment receipt or a renewal notice. We use your name and picture only to show you which account you are signed in as.

3. What we never ask for

We do not request access to Gmail, your contacts, Google Drive, your calendar, your photos, or any other Google service. We ask for no Google permission beyond basic sign-in. We do not sell or share your information with advertisers or data brokers.

4. Your payments stay on your phone

The notifications the app reads are processed on your device to detect the amount and speak it aloud. Your transaction history is stored in the app on your phone — it is not uploaded to us and is not linked to your Google Account.

5. Deleting your account

You can delete your account and everything attached to it at any time, from inside the app or from our account deletion page. Deleting removes your profile and subscription record from our servers.
